Dr Dave Mackay PhD, M.Eng, Dipl Man, FHEA

Dave spent four years as a lecturer in Strategy & Innovation at the University of Strathclyde Business School. This followed an industrial career with Procter and Gamble's Product Supply division, holding production engineering and department management roles. Dave joined the University of Strathclyde in knowledge exchange and research positions with the Strathclyde Institute for Operations Management before completing a PhD in Strategic Management researching the role manager’s play in creating and exploiting organizational capacity for purposeful resource base change. His continuing research interests include implementation activities and the ‘consumption’ of formal strategy & change initiatives; the role of managerial wisdom as an influencer of what people actually ‘do’ when making and managing strategic change, and competencies, capabilities & dynamic capability.

Marianne Meehan, MBA

Marianne Meehan, MBA

Marianne has extensive experience and international exposure across multiple sectors and is a successful business transformation leader with a first class MBA specialising in Strategy. In her most recent role of Global MBA Operations Director at the triple accredited University of Strathclyde Business School, Marianne led the delivery of the FT 100 ranked MBA programme across 9 international centres. Marianne has also worked at Director Level in finance and operations in various other sectors including food and drink, logistics, capital equipment engineering & manufacturing and venture capital & private investment.

Marianne has been involved in numerous mergers & acquisitions, rebranding projects, change implementation initiatives and has led talent development programmes with achievements and results.

Sandy Wilson MBA, LLB

Sandy Wilson MBA, LLB

Sandy spent the last five years leading the development of Customised Executive and Corporate Education programmes at the triple accredited University of Strathclyde Business School. He has an excellent track record in programme delivery, design and direction leading complex, globally distributed projects with a series of high profile clients and consortium across 3 continents including Iberdrola, Babcock International Group, William Grant and Sons, Standard Life, Alliance Trust and RBS.

He joined the University of Strathclyde shortly after graduating with Distinction, from their FT 100 ranked MBA programme, and established the Centre for Corporate Connections. Prior to his time as the Director of Executive Education Sandy worked in senior positions within the motor industry and completed a Law Degree at the University of Glasgow. During this period he facilitated a number of strategy consulting projects with high profile public and private organisations in the UK, UAE and USA. Sandy also teaches the Strategic Consulting class on the Strathclyde MBA programme along with other strategic leadership related topics to private clients.

Sandy’s research interests are based in strategy process with a particular focus on the alignment and connection of strategic planning to organisational action primarily in the fields of learning and development but also within the context of change management and operations.
